  1. Hi Sarah! I loved that you used centers in your lesson. You do not see many of the higher elementary grade teachers use centers in their lessons. I also loved that you gave your gifted students a choice of which Civil Rights Movement they would like to recreate in a comic strip. Great variety of tasks for the students to complete! In addition, I liked how you split up your recordings so that one focused on the lesson and the other was on the assessment.

  2. I loved your lesson on the Civil Rights Movement. I really enjoyed the idea of using centers as a review and the assessment was very thorough and it would really find out how well the students are understanding the lesson!

  7. Hi Sarah,
Your centers are a great way to review/teach about the Civil Rights Era. I like that you have different activities for each center. Thank you for sharing this lesson with us!

  8. Hi Sarah,
I loved your lesson! My favorite part is all of the different centers you have implemented in. I think the assessment you have at the end of the lesson will be perfect to get an understanding on where the students knowledge is at after experiencing the centers!
